Robert J. DeBry & Associates in the Community:
Robert J. DeBry & Associates leads with a focus on community service. We fund organizations like Utah Disabled American Veterans, and it is own “Buy a Helmet, Save a Life” initiative. The late Robert DeBry founded the industry. The firm’s Salt Lake City office offers a location where residents of Utah can receive a safety helmet for a free or reduced cost. Thus far, “Buy a Helmet, Save a Life” has distributed more than a quarter-million helmets to the community.
Another focus of the firm is ending drunk driving. As personal injury attorneys, the associates at Robert J. DeBry see the tragic consequences of drunk driving for clients and their loved ones. Drunk driving is the leading cause of car crash deaths in the US. The CDC reports that around ten thousand people die each year from these accidents, and an additional fifty thousand people suffer injuries.
Robert J. DeBry & Associates are strong supporters of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). The mission of MADD is to end drunk driving, fight drugged driving, prevent underage drinking, and support the victims of drunk driving crimes. In its 40 years of service, MADD’s efforts have helped reduce drunk driving deaths significantly.
Since 2010, Robert J. DeBry & Associates Utah law firm has donated $53,000 to MADD. For each drunk driving case the firm settles, we donate $500 to the nonprofit organization. Through our support for MADD, Robert J. DeBry & Associates affirms our commitment to funding community organizations and ending drunk driving.
