In an accident in Centerville, Utah, on Dec 17th, a vehicle crashed into a home. The police received an anonymous tip from a reckless driver, and the caller said a car was speeding through their neighborhood. The police report states that the driver was going about 85 mph in the neighborhood, which has a speed limit of 25 mph.

The vehicle’s driver lost control and hit another car, then a mailbox, before going airborne and ramming into the house. No one was home during the crash, and as a result, there were no third-party injuries or fatalities.

Police said the driver was booked into the Davis County Jail for investigation of driving under the influence.
