On December 1st, 2022, a car accident in West Jordan fatally injured an older man in a high-speed head-on collision between two vehicles. West Jordan Police Lt. Richard Bell stated that the accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. when a Dodge pickup truck heading north rammed into a Chevy Colorado going west at an intersection. As documented in the Utah crash report, the impact force caused the Chevy to roll over, leading to the fatal injuries of the older man, who was pronounced dead and the only occupant. The two passengers in the Dodge pickup were taken to a local hospital.
