New Program Hopes to Cut Costs and Help Injured Employees Quickly Return to Work

From our office in St. George to other parts of Utah, here at Robert J. DeBry, we’re no stranger to working with genuinely injured Utahans hoping to receive the necessary monetary compensation so that they can get back to work as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, due to the many subtle intricacies of the legal system, this is oftentimes a very difficult task; moreover, it’s one that’s proven to be difficult in all American states.

It’s for that very reason that every time a systematic advancement is made in furthering the cause of personal injury victims and each lawyer that works with them, we’re pleased to make it known to others. Recently launched in Ohio, the Enhanced Care Program focuses solely on connecting healthcare professionals with injured workers so that quicker, more dedicated treatment can take place. On average, as a result, workers are able to return to work between five and eight days after an injury first occurred.

Currently in its pilot stage, the program is up and running in 16 counties across the state of Ohio. Once six months have passed, data will be analyzed to see if the program was more effective in helping injured workers, be it from slip and fall incidents or something even more serious, return to work in a more efficient, timely manner.

While no program of the sort exists in St. George or any other location in Utah, we’re pleased to see that others are seeing success. Needless to say, if you or a loved one has become a victim of a painful slip and fall or anything else harmful while at work, make it a point to speak with an experienced lawyer at any one of our four offices across the state.
