Utah Highway Patrol was hit Thursday, November 10th, in the morning while responding to crashes on Interstate 215 at Redwood Road. According to KSL, the Utah Highway Patrol trooper was not inside the vehicle when the car was hit by another vehicle. As a result, the trooper was unharmed.

On November 10th, the Utah Highway Patrol (@UTHighwayPatrol) tweeted, “Remember, slow down and move over for emergency and service vehicles. Troopers responded to crashes on I-215  at Redwood Rd when another vehicle lost control and hit his car. Luckily, he was not in it at the time and was not hurt. Roads can be slick even when they look clear.”

KSL reported the troopers were responding to three existing crashes in the area. The dashcam video was later released.
