The O.J.Simpson Civil Trial is one of American history’s most highly publicized trials.

The murders of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, put O.J. Simpson on trial.

This blog post will take a closer look at the O.J.Simpson civil trial, the events leading up to it, and what happened during the civil trial itself.

1. Who Was O.J. Simpson?

O.J. Simpson, “The Juice,” was a former professional football player who became one of the most famous faces in America.

He had a successful career as a football running back and got inducted into the Hall of Fame.

However, his life worsened when he stood accused of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman.

Events Leading To The Death And Arrest Of O.J. Simpson

On June 12, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman succumbed to stabs outside her home in Los Angeles.

On the night of the murder, Simpson is seen near Nicole’s home, and his car matches the getaway vehicle’s description.

The police found Simpson’s bloody glove at the crime scene, and he became the primary suspect in the case.

Case Trial

On July 22, 1994, Simpson was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The trial began on January 24, 1995.

During the trial, Simpson’s defense team argued that the police had framed him and that racial bias was against him.

On October 3, 1995, Simpson was found not guilty of the murders, but he was liable for the deaths in a civil trial. The civil jury found him responsible for the deaths and awarded their families $33.5 million in damages.
