Nowadays, it seems that people are rarely without their handheld electronic devices. Be it a smartphone, tablet, laptop or mp3 player, Americans can’t get enough of the lifestyle offered them by their respective arrays of personal gadgetry.

Though generally providing a great deal of good for people both here in Utah and elsewhere, when used while operating a motor vehicle—in conjunction with a host of other common distractions—attention is diverted away from what most matters: automotive safety.

Unfortunately, the result is often tragic, ending in severe injury or even death. Simply put, with the entirety of an individual’s attention being directed towards the road and other motorists, auto accidents can be avoided altogether.
