Industries With the Highest Slip and Fall Rates

The National Safety Council reports that in 2013 alone, falling related workplace injury claims cost employers, corporations and insurance companies more than $13 billion.

Slip and fall accidents aren’t commonly thought of as one of the most common workplace injuries to occur every year, but more than one million Americans slip and fall every year. An additional 20 to 30 percent of those accidents lead to moderate or severe hip, back or head injuries.

Whether in Farmington, Utah or the West Coast, a typical injury lawyer will defend dozens of workplace injury claims from slipping and falling from an array of industries, but some careers tend to have more injuries than others.
