Over the past two weeks any glance at the news was a constant stream of the devastation brought fourth by Hurricane Matthew. It was a constant reminder of the unthinkable, because no matter how much we prepare, the unthinkable can still happen.
When we hear these hurricanes will be making an entrance to the United States it’s hard to feel sympathy because people from Provo, Utah have no idea what these storms are like.
Whether families are facing wrongful death or the phone call to their lawyer, understanding breeds compassion. The world could use a little more compassion these days.
