On Monday, September 19, at about 9:30 pm, a two-passenger truck drifted off the road and overturned – killing one passenger and the other facing fatal injuries. The Dodge Ram was headed west on U.S. Route 89, west of Big Water in Kane County, Utah. The 38-year-old driver was ejected from the pickup truck and suffered from fatal injuries. Authorities say neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing their seatbelts. 

On September 28th, an RV and semi-truck collided in Moab, Utah, leaving one dead. As the RV was leaving a rest area in Kane Springs Hole, a northbound semi-truck was T-boned in the driver’s side compartment. The Southwinds RV driver was 67 years old and passed away at the scene.
