On October 11, a two-car collision on state Route 36 resulted in the death of a 35-year-old man and a series of injuries to the occupants in the other vehicle. The crash occurred at Tuesday event on Tuesday at 1220 S. Main Street in Tooele, UT. The accident involved a 2018 Nissan Altima and a 2020 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 20-year-old woman with a passenger. The Nissan crossed over into oncoming traffic, hitting the Hyundai Elantra. “A Life Flight helicopter was called to transport the injured, but Cutler said the man died on the scene,” KSL reported. Other passengers involved were taken to surrounding hospitals in the Salt Lake area.
