Mark Goudeau’s Life and Crimes

A personal injury law firm, Robert J. DeBry & Associates, has brought you this article today to better educate you on the life and crimes of these killers.

His life

Goudeau was born as the second-youngest of thirteen children in, in 1964. His father was stern, but the household was pleasant, according to one of Goudeau’s siblings. According to other siblings, their father was verbally abusive, and drinking ran in the family. His mother died in 1976 when he was 12 years old.

He attended Corona del sol In Tempe, Arizona, where he excelled in football but didn’t graduate because he didn’t meet the required credits.

Genesis of Marks crimes

Mark first had a run-in with the law when he and his brother were detained in 1982 for raping a minor, but no charges were filed. Mark would face severe punishment in 1989 for kidnapping, raping, and beating a woman. She could have hired a personal injury lawyer to get compensation for the horrific experience. He received sentencing of 36 years but was paroled in 2004. After his parole, he settled with his wife, Wendy Carr, near the Baseline Killer crime district, where his killings would begin earning him the name Baseline Killer.

On August 6, 2005, the Baseline Killer was believed to have committed his first crime when he coerced three adolescent girls behind a church and sexually assaulted two of them. A month later, he achieved his first murder, followed by robberies, sexual harassment, and eight more murders.

The murder of Sophia Nunez hadn’t yet been linked to him until the ballistics evidence was compared to those of his previous victims, which helped conclude that she, too, had been killed using the same gun.

His capture

The Baseline Killer was arrested on April 10th, 2006. Through DNA, circumstantial and ballistic evidence, he was found guilty of all his crimes, of which he was sentenced to 438 years in prison on October 31st, 2011. He was later sentenced to death and is currently waiting on death row. His friends and family are convinced that the police have the wrong man and have been petitioning on his behalf.

Nothing will ever be enough to bring back your loved one, but getting justice through a personal injury lawyer can give you closure. At Robert J. DeBry & Associates, we will strive to provide you with the best services.
