For years, Robert J. DeBry & Associates has supported our neighbors and community by continuing to give back through scholarship programs, fundraisers, sponsorships, and donations.
These are a few of the organizations and causes we support:
At Robert J. DeBry, we’re happy to help support theAmerican Heart Association and its mission to prevent cardiovascular disease.
Robert J. DeBry supports the Assistance League of Salt Lake City and its volunteers, helping the community through programs such as Operation School Bell, which provides clothing to underprivileged children who come to school inadequately dressed.
We’re happy to support Ballet West, which features the very best in American Classical ballet in Salt Lake City.
Our law firm participates in the Brain Injury Association of Utah’s annual 5k Run Walk & Roll, which raises funds and awareness for those affected by brain injuries.
We support the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, which helps thousands of cancer patients throughout the Intermountain West every year and provides academic and clinical training for future physicians and researchers.
As lawyers, we’ve seen the tragic impact of drunk driving, and we’ve helped many families pick up the pieces after these accidents occur. We’re equally focused on finding a way to stop drunk driving before it occurs. We’re strong supporters of MADD, and for every drunk driving case we win or settle we donate $500 to MADD. Since 2010, our law firm has donated $44,500 to MADD.
Robert J. DeBry supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and its mission to bring hope, strength, and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Our law firm supports the March of Dimes—a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of babies—through contributions and donations.
We raised funds during a walkathon event to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Funds raised went to help the organization serve more people living with multiple sclerosis.
We support Mothers Against Drunk Driving and its longest running and most visible public awareness project, Tie One On For Safety®. During the holiday season, we encourage people in the community to make a visible pledge to drive sober by displaying a red ribbon on their cars.
People in Salt Lake City, St. George, and the surrounding areas are encouraged to pick up red ribbons at our offices or other local businesses during the month of December. Ribbons displayed on vehicles indicate drivers who plan to drive safe, sober, and buckled throughout the year.
The holiday season brings cheer to many children, but some families are faced with hardships and are unable to afford toys and gifts for their children. To help make sure all the children in our community enjoy the holidays, our law firm partnered with ABC4 to help sponsor Toys for Tots. We provided drop-off locations at our offices where people could donate toys to needy families in Salt Lake City.
In December 2009, the law firm donated 500 bicycle helmets and 50 bicycles toToys for Tots to be given to disadvantaged children during the holidays. Because bikes are a common children’s gift, we wanted to help ensure the safety of the community’s youngest members.
Our law firm supports Utah Disabled American Veterans, and we’re happy to show support through donations.
The Road Home is a nonprofit organization that meets basic needs and provides personalized case management to help individuals and families experiencing hard times to get back on their feet and become self-sufficient.
Since 2008, our law firm has supported this organization by providing funds and donating items such as clothing and blankets throughout the year.
