“I am willing to do whatever it takes to keep drunk drivers off the road this holiday season, even if it means paying for it myself. I see more cases of drunk driving around the holiday season than any other time throughout the year.”
―Robert J. DeBry

Robert J. DeBry & Associates is committed to helping prevent drunk driving by offering DeBry’s Free Rides Home—a free ride home program for adults who need a safe way home. To date, the program has been offered during New Year’s Eve, St. Patrick’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, and more.

In addition to Free Rides Home, for every drunk driver Robert J. DeBry successfully litigates against, he donates $500 to Mothers Against Drunk Driving. As a result, Salt Lake Magazine recognized him as the “The Do-Gooder” as part of its 2008 Best of the Beehive list.

Get a Free Ride Home

Adults age 21 and older are eligible to utilize this opportunity and can qualify for up to $35 in reimbursement, which covers the cost for most cab rides in the Salt Lake Metro area. Cab rides will be given from a bar or restaurant to a residence, not to other drinking locations.

How Do I Get Reimbursed?

Mail a photocopy of your valid driver’s license along with your original taxi receipt (no photocopies) to our law firm. We will reimburse you up to $35 for your cab ride, which must be within the Salt Lake Metro area. Your receipt must be submitted within 10 days after the qualifying holiday.
