Michelle K. Waddoups has been an associate attorney at Robert J. DeBry & Associates since 2012. Michelle is incredibly dedicated to each case she takes on, and as a member of the Utah Supreme Court, U.S. and Utah District Court she can ensure that every client receives help repairing their lives.

Helping others has always been important in Michelle’s life. Before she pursued a law degree, she successfully managed a childcare center in addition to teaching preschool and school-aged children.

Working as a dispute specialist led Michelle to pursue a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, J.D., in 2010.

While in law school she served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association. Michelle also worked at the Public Sector Law Project Clinic and was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Federal Bar Association.

Michelle received several recognitions while in law school including the Student Bar Association Leadership and Service Recognition Award, and the Public Sector Law Project Service Award.

Before law school Michelle studied as an undergraduate at the University of Utah, where she was on the Dean’s List and received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Human Development and Family Studies.

Michelle cares about each individual client and giving them excellent representation, which is why she is part of the American Bar Association—Young Lawyers Division and the Utah Association for Justice. Membership in these organizations means that she works to fight for individual rights and fair justice when a person has been injured.

Since working at Robert J. DeBry & Associates, Michelle has focused her practice on medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death claims successfully settling many cases.

When Michelle is not at work she enjoys exercising. During the summer she frequently visits the lake and spends time with friends and family.
